Practice of Life

Health is power

Practice of Life is an online community space, sharing evidence-based articles, posts and inspiration targeted at Parents and Teenagers in the USA. They wanted a brand identity that elevated the content, transforming health into a movement. The brand identity, inspired by the idea that ‘health is power' is full of energy, never sitting still. The symbol a combination of health and positive energy. The visual identity celebrates the messiness of life through ripped paper and collage inspired illustrations that connect with both audiences. An anti-perfectionist tone permeates throughout all elements of the identity.

To communicate the idea of health as power we created a mark that was always moving supported by a symbol that combined positive energy and the universal symbol for health. The visual identity celebrated the messiness of life and the meaning behind the brand name by utilising found imagery and collage style illustrations. This meant that the identity was easily replicated by the team.
